The concierge Nazri Hussain was amazing, we found him so helpful and we loved all his advise.

Felt there could have been a server at the bar at the pool, we were there late afternoon but its such a stunning setting?

Centrally located, with great facilities and top notch people

This hotel is a little gem. Great location near to City Hall MRT and really great people working there. The room was comfortable, quite big and had everything we needed. The breakfast buffet had everything you could possibly want. And the pool was so lovely on a hot day.

Great hotel, but only if you shell out large sums for the same food at the Crystal Club.

The location is excellent, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the food (when you can get it) is quite good. The staff do their best to be polite.

I returned to this hotel after a fabulous stay in January 2023, but this stay was a very different experience. The hotel was full and did not seem prepared to manage the number of guests on the property. The line for the breakfast buffet frequently stretched through the lobby and into the elevator waiting area. The meal that we ordered via in-room dining was delayed by over an hour and half and did not arrive until close to 10pm. And even then, one of the meals was someone else's and the order came without cutlery! Furthermore, I had to extend my stay on two occasions due to disrupted travel plans and was unable to do this via the front desk. Instead, I had to manage everything through an app, which was confusing and frustrating. After a few days, they finally began using the upstairs Crystal Club to accommodate the breakfast needs of guests in the morning, which was appreciated by those of us traveling with small, hungry children.

Great spot in the middle of everything. Comfy and clean. Great staff.

Happy I stayed at this property. Great spot close to MRT and buses and shopping. Really lovely staff. Particularly Rico and Sufri and Zariah (?) who looked after housekeeping on my floor. :) Excellent pool.

Everything was good. Only thing is the hot food on the breakfast bar was generally cold.

Dishonest booking.com with wrong info for deceiving customer to book with different confirmation.

Hotel cleaning staff Sophia and frontdesk Alshikin were really helpful and friendly.

It's a shame that Booking.com attitude for not admitting and honoring its own mistake. False info before payment and then give customer different confirmation after payment.

Good Stay Despite Horrible First Night

Location is superb. Ceiling fan is a nice addition for those who like moving air in addition to air conditioning. All staff (except one) were extremely helpful and polite. Bed was very comfortable. My room had a bathtub, which was a good size, and very clean. Complimentary parking was very welcome.

Note that while I have given the high star rating, it is entirely because Ms Melody of the reception did an admirable service recovery for a horrible 1st night, which I will describe below. My first room (447) had an odd rumbling / high pitched vibrating noise that was unrelenting - I was so irritated I timed the sound; 6mins of noise followed by 5mins of silence. This went on from the moment I checked in until I finally was able to change rooms at 11am the next morning. A strong smell of smoke also wafted in at about 9am, which added to the aggravation of the preceding noiseful night. My bad experience would have been alleviated if the night staff (a male, but I didn't note his name because I was so frustrated both by the room, as well as his attitude) was at least vaguely sympathetic. He was at best neutral, and at worst condescending. In addition to the noise, the ceiling fan did not work properly (unable to adjust the fan speed, unreliable switching on and off) and the thermostat on the air-conditioning was either freezing or roasting. The hotel makes a big deal of its app, where purportedly one could access in-room controls. This is my second stay at this hotel, and both times the app has spectacularly failed to work. Requests for assistance were not helpful either. I have never been so eager and glad to change rooms before. Even if it meant I had to pack everything up again. I could not locate an HDMI port for the TV (and I looked, quite hard), and thus if I had opted to watch TV, would have been limited to their very limited selection of cable channels. Aside from the room, I didn't patronise the restaurant because it was mostly Western fusion (slightly odd menu items, in my view). But there are plenty of food alternatives in the vicinity so no biggie.

Good place. Will stay again

Well located Good pool Nicely renovated rooms Polite and helpful staff. Kept our belongings for a couple of day after check-out. Coffee drips are nice and tasty

Well 1st of all we booked a room for 3 including kid of 9. However the 1st room was not suitable as there were no sleeping space for a kid. No additional beds are available. So after rather tough discussions our room was changed to a one with a coach (free of charge). The main disappointment is that the hotel tried to bill additional SGD 100 (in our case it was additional SGD 1200 or so for a stay) per night for that (however even on the hotel website the room with a coach was slightly different, i.e. SGD 150-200 per whole stay. So those travelling with a kid - be prepared. Also very tiny breakfast area close to reception (was quite crowded during our stay) Smart Home panel in the room was badly located and very unresponsive. Would prefer normal switches.

Rooms were a little dated compared to the pictures. Turning on and off the lights and aircon was difficult due to everything being electronic on a single screen.

Breakfast was very ordinary and the staff are always in a big rush. Even when the place is not too crowded. Even if you go at 9.45 AM, they rush you for 10.20 last orders....
